Financial Investigations, Inc. was established in Denver, Colorado in 1987 by Charles "Chuck" Sullivan.  Until 2002, the company performed financially linked investigations for attorneys and private parties.  Since then, Financial Investigations' primary focus is due diligence investigations for hedge fund investors.

Financial Investigations continues to be the leading due diligence provider to hedge fund investors.  Our goal is to provide a fundamental vetting process of hedge fund managers, analysts and traders for the benefit of hedge fund investors. This is a process separate from that of governmental regulators, who have too often proved ineffectual in their efforts to police the investment environment and culture. 

Financial Investigations strives to assist the potential investor in evaluating funds for investment grading. Our team proactively identifies red flags and deficiencies in the backgrounds of individual managers and funds, as well as shed light on their accomplishments. We seek to minimize uncertainty about investment decisions and maximize the investors’ decision-making ability for themselves and/or their clients.
